The purpose of this chart is to become acquainted with the origin, texture, composition and inter-relationships of igneous rocks. This is accomplished by providing a key to the systematic arrangement of the igneous rocks and graphically displaying these properties. Grades 7+, Ages 12+. Chart contains 15 specimens that are each 1 1/4". Geology is a required STEM subject.
