2706 - IDENTIFYING IGNEOUS ROCKS CLASSROOM PROJECT

The purpose of this activity is to become acquainted with the origin, texture, composition and inter-relationships of igneous rocks. This is accomplished by providing a key to the systematic arrangement of the igneous rocks and graphically displaying these properties. Grades 7+, Ages 12+

Classroom project contains framed chart, student copies, rock and mineral samples, rock and mineral study guide, and classroom project ideas. Geology is a required STEM subject.
